The register of building encumbrances contains encumbrances on land under building law.

The register of building encumbrances contains encumbrances on properties under building law. These encumbrances have been taken over by owners in order to fulfill building law requirements.

Public land charges

The new registration of public land charges for the fulfillment of obligations under building regulations is no longer possible due to the lack of a legal basis.

The prerequisite for the provision of information from the register of building encumbrances is an existing legitimate interest. This is assumed to be the case if the street name and house number as well as the cadastral data (district, parcel and land parcel) are provided.

The information is issued

• to notaries,
• to other persons or institutions upon presentation of an excerpt from the land register
  or the notice on land ownership fees. The documents must not be older
  than twelve months.

Information by telephone is not possible.
