Apply for an authorisation for the commercial transport of animal by-products to another EU Member State.
If your company wants to transport animal by-products and derived products to another EU Member State, you need authorisation.
All persons and companies involved in the planned transport must be registered or approved under Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009 and have a registration or approval number.
- You submit the application for authorisation to transport animal by-products commercially to the competent authority.
- The responsible authority will check your documents. If necessary, they will request further information or documents from you.
- The responsible authority will examine your application.
- You will receive a notification.
Submit the application at least 4 weeks before the planned transport. You may only transport the animal by-products and derived products within the EU once you have received approval.
- Anyone who transports animal by-products commercially to another Member State must have their business approved by the competent authority before starting the activity
