If you stock eels, you must keep written records of the stocking process. You summarize these in an annual report for the calendar year and send it to the upper fisheries authority.

If you stock eels, make written records for each stocking process. Here you should state in which waters you have stocked which stocking material, the average weight of the stocked fish, the total weight and the origin of the stocking material.

Once you have summarized these records for the calendar year, send them to the upper fisheries authority.

• You summarize your eel stocking and check your data for completeness.
• You send the information to the upper fisheries authority.
• The upper fisheries authority receives your notification and checks it. If necessary, questions will be clarified with you.
• You are obliged to keep the records on which the report is based for at least five years.
