§15c paragraph 3 in conjunction with Annex I No. 4.4 paragraph 1 sentence 2 of the GefStoffV

If you want to offer a course for the professional use of biocidal products, you must have the course recognised by the competent authority.

If you wish to offer a course for one or more expert uses of biocidal products, you must have the course recognised by the competent authority.

These may be, for example, training courses for the implementation of fumigations or the use of biocidal products that are used in the hygiene sector, as pesticides or as protective agents to prevent the formation of microbes and algae.

• Teaching material or documents on the course concept of the course to be recognised. Such documents should also include:
  • Course programme o Course contents
  • Speakers and their qualifications
  • Timetable with details of the speakers for the teaching unit
  • Proof of the qualification of the speakers
  • Contents of the presentations as short contributions
  • Information on the teaching material
  • Draft of a course certificate
  • These documents should also include examination documents and information on the examination procedure (e.g. examination sheet with evaluation and identification of the correct answers).

• The course concept meets the requirements of expertise for the Hazardous Substances Ordinance § 15c (3) in conjunction with Annex I, No. 4.4 (3) sentence 2
• Professionally qualified teaching staff

Costs: variable from 100 to 1000 Euro

You can submit the recognition of a specialist course to the competent authority by e-mail or post.

• They shall submit the necessary documents to the competent authority.
• The competent authority shall examine your documents and, if necessary, request further information or documents.
• The competent authority shall grant or refuse recognition.

The recognition notice is accompanied by information on how to appeal.
