- The most important point of contact is the local immigration authority. They will answer questions about entry and residence.
- If you are in need of assistance at the beginning of your stay in Germany, you are entitled to receive social benefits in accordance with the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act. You can apply for these asylum seeker benefits at the local benefits authority (social welfare office).
