You can operate your prostitution business through one or more persons appointed as a proxy. To do so, you must apply for a prostitution license for each person appointed as a prostitute. As soon as you no longer use this person as a substitute, you must notify the competent authority immediately.

The deputy permit can be issued for a limited period.

• Permit in accordance with Section 12 ProstSchG of the prostitution business for which the prostitution permit is being applied forPersonal ID card, passport, electronic residence permit if applicable
• Certificate of good conduct for submission to authorities according to document type "0" or European certificate of good conduct
• Extract from the central trade register for submission to an authority according to document type "9"
• Certificate in tax matters from the responsible tax office

The person designated as proxy must

• be at least 18 years old
• be reliable for the operation of a prostitution business

The granting of a prostitution license may be prohibited if the person designated as a prostitute does not meet the requirements.

The fees incurred depend on the time required to process your application and amount to at least 240.00 euros.

You can temporarily hand over the operation of your prostitution business to a person appointed as a deputy or appoint a person to act as your deputy manager.
