Registration with the competent authority is required for the provision of pension consultations.
If you wish to provide pension advice in the following areas, you must register with the relevant authority:
- statutory pension and accident insurance,
- social compensation law,
- other social insurance and severe disability law with reference to a statutory pension as well as company and occupational pension schemes.
Requirements:
Proof of special expertise in the relevant areas of law is required.
Natural and legal persons as well as companies without legal personality can be registered.
Registration may be made subject to conditions or requirements if this is necessary for the protection of those seeking justice or of legal transactions.
Pension advice is a sub-area of legal advice according to § 10 RDG (see Service Legal Advice - Permission).
