If you are interested in working in an academic or non-academic health profession abroad, you will need a Certificate of good standing(Certificate of good standing).
If you wish to work abroad in an academic or non-academic healthcare profession, you will generally need proof of the qualification you have acquired (training certificate).
This confirms that you are authorized to practice your profession without restriction. It also shows that no professional or disciplinary action has been taken or initiated against you (clearance certificate).
You can obtain a certificate of good standing from the local competent authority in the federal state in which you practice or last practiced your profession.
- Certificate of completed training (e.g. certificate of medical examination) (only if the training was completed in another federal state and/or the license or permission to use the professional title was issued in another federal state).
- Approbation certificate or certificate of permission to use a professional title (only if the training was completed in another federal state and/or the approval or permission to use the professional title was issued in another federal state)
- Continuing education designation (for example, specialist), if this is to be included in the certificate
- Doctorate certificate (if available)
- Proof of activity and certificate of good conduct (certificate of the competent professional chamber on the data kept there)
- Name change certificate (if applicable)
- Important: If copies are submitted, they must be officially certified. If copies are submitted without official certification, the originals must be submitted at the same time. Documents in foreign languages require an official German translation by a sworn interpreter in Germany.

You can only apply for the Certificate of good standing at the respective competent authority.
