If you need information on standard land values, for example in advance of a property purchase, building project or for property tax purposes, you can view the standard land values online or obtain written information and extracts.

The standard land value (Section 196 (1) of the German Building Code - BauGB) is the average value of the land for a majority of properties within a defined area (standard land value zone) that are largely identical in terms of their property characteristics, in particular the type and extent of usability, and for which the general value conditions are essentially the same. The standard land values in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are determined by the expert committees for land values.

You can request information verbally or in writing. Written information is subject to a charge.

A quick and free overview of the standard land values can be obtained via the internet portals of the expert committees, GeoPortal.MV or the German Standard Land Value Information System (BORIS-D).
