- § 200 Absatz 3 Baugesetzbuch (BauGB)
The city or municipality can create a building land register. It serves to provide all interested parties with information about areas of the city or municipality that can be built on immediately or in the foreseeable future. However, there is no obligation to do so. The land register makes no claim to completeness and is merely an additional source of information for citizens.
However, the publication of a property in the building land register does not necessarily mean that the property owner intends to sell the area in question, which in principle can be built on.
Note: The property owner has the option of objecting to the publication of their property in the building land register.
Your application must contain at least the following information:
- Name of the landowner (indicate whether owner or authorised leaseholder)
- Location of the property:
- District
- Parcel
- Street, house number
If you are acting as an authorised representative, you must also provide a written power of attorney.
If your property is not published in the building land register, you as the property owner have the option of applying to the city/municipality. The application is not subject to any formal requirements. If the city/municipality provides a form, we recommend that you use it.
