If you have a service driving licence, you can have it converted into a general driving licence (EU driving licence).

Which documents are to be submitted in individual cases, please clarify in advance by telephone with the responsible office

• Application form (will be created in the driving licence authority)
• Identity document (identity card, passport, expellee card)
• Current registration certificate from the residents' registration office responsible for the main residence (registration certificate must only be presented if a valid identity card is not available)
• Driving licence (company driving licence) or certificate from the issuing authority on the past possession of a company driving licence
• Photograph that complies with the provisions of the Passport Ordinance (biometric suitability of the passport photo)
• Index card extract (from the issuing authority)

If the transfer of the company driving licence is applied for after termination of the employment relationship, additional documents are required.
