The land use plan
- is a preparatory urban land-use plan and the basis for a development plan.
- It has no legally binding significance.
The intended urban development of a municipality is defined in the land use plan. The plan therefore shows how each part of the municipal area is to be used.
Possible uses are
- Residential,
- commercial,
- transportation,
- infrastructure,
- recreation or
- nature and the environment.
You can view new or recently amended land use plans on the Internet. If the responsible local authority does not yet provide the desired land use plan on the Internet, you have the right to view it at the local authority.
The land use plan generally consists of:
- Indication of the planning objectives,
- various maps on
- land use, development or environment,
- Legend to the maps and
- Explanatory statement with, for example, an indication of the decisions and considerations.
You can view the contents and supplementary documents of land use plans online or on site at the relevant authority.
If you would like to view the land use plans on site, you usually have to make an appointment with the responsible authority.
There is no processing time insofar as the land use plan is already available online.
