You can request information about the content of a development plan from the responsible municipality.
You can request information about the contents of a development plan (urban land-use plan). The local authority is obliged to provide you with the requested information.
For example, a development plan specifies the following for a building area,
- how the land may be used,
- which construction method the buildings must have,
- what height the buildings may have.
The development plan also includes, for example
- Plan drawing consisting of various plans and maps showing the exact spatial division of the area,
- Reasons with, for example, details of the decisions and considerations, and
- an environmental report with an assessment of the impact of the development plan on the environment.
- First check whether your local authority has made the desired development plan available on the Internet.
- If not, contact the local authority responsible for the development plan in person, by telephone, by post or by e-mail.

- on site at the competent authority
- online
- by post
- Development plan information
- Obtain information on the content of a development plan
- new development plans are available online. Depending on the municipality, access to older plans must still be requested
