Are you under 25 and no longer of school age, not in training or work and don't know what to do next due to your personal problems? Take advantage of the outreach counseling and support services offered by the Youth Employment Agency.
Outreach counseling is a voluntary counseling and support service offered by the Youth Employment Agency and is aimed at young people who are generally no longer of school age, are not in training or work and have a particular need for socio-educational support with regard to placement in training or work during the transition from school to training or work.
These are young people who, at the same time, are not yet or no longer connected to one of the supporting legal areas of the Youth Employment Agency (SGB II, SGB III, SGB VIII) or who are at risk of falling out of these structures.
Outreach counseling works closely with the internal counseling services of the Youth Employment Agency's partners as well as with external counseling and support service providers.
The internal partners are as follows:
- Career counseling,
- Job placement/case management,
- rehabilitation counseling,
- employer service,
- Vocational schools,
- Regional advice and support center (ReBUZ)
The external partners are as follows:
- Outpatient psychiatric care,
- Providers of educational measures,
- Youth welfare and youth support facilities
The counseling sessions take place by appointment inside or outside the youth employment agency, at a location agreed individually with the young person. If the counseling situation allows, on-site counseling is also possible immediately without prior appointment.
