Would you like to apply for admission to a vocational secondary school in the city of Bremerhaven?

The Berufsoberschule is a one-year course of education in grade 13, which takes place full-time and is offered in the municipality of Bremerhaven in the fields of

• technology
• Business and administration
• Health and social services

is offered.

By passing the final examination, you acquire the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, and if you can prove the necessary knowledge of a second foreign language, the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur). The subject-specific higher education entrance qualification certificate entitles you to study specified courses at German universities. The certificate of general higher education entrance qualification entitles you to study all courses of study at all German colleges and universities.

• Evidence in accordance with the applicable admission requirements

• Certificate of entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences

and

• Proof of completed vocational training relevant to the field of training

a. at least 2 years of vocational training in a recognized or equivalent training occupation in accordance with the Vocational Training Act or Crafts Code or in a corresponding training occupation in public administration or

b. corresponding training as a civil servant or

c. Vocational training in accordance with state law with a state final examination.

or

a relevant professional activity of at least 5 years in a training occupation recognized or equivalently regulated under the Vocational Training Act or the Crafts Code or in a corresponding training occupation in public administration or in an occupation regulated under state law.

• Select the vocational high school of your choice.
• Fill out the admission form and submit the completed admission form together with the necessary documents to the desired vocational high school in accordance with the school requirements.
• Once you have been selected by the vocational high school, you will receive notification of your acceptance or rejection.
