If you are planning a project for the integration of people with a migration history, you can apply for funding for it under certain conditions.
The city of Bremerhaven understands integration as a process for the realization of equal opportunity participation of all people living in Bremerhaven, regardless of national, cultural and/or ethnic affiliation.
If you are planning a project for the integration of people with a migration history, you have the opportunity to apply for funding from the City of Bremerhaven.
- Grants for project funding can be applied for by legal entities under public law and legal entities under private law, in particular registered associations. The forms in the framework guideline must be used for the application. Project funds can only ever be granted for the current financial year.
- In addition to the declaration of the start of the measure, the application must be accompanied by a financing plan containing the relevant income and expenditure. Grants may only be awarded for projects that have not yet been started. As a rule, the start of the project is deemed to be the conclusion of a supply or service contract attributable to the measure (without right of withdrawal).
- An application must be submitted for funding. The forms of the framework guideline are available as downloads.
- The completed and signed forms must be submitted in original by mail or in person to the Social Services Department. The application will then be reviewed and a decision made there.
- Once a project has been completed, the Social Services Department must be provided with proof of use and a detailed report in a timely manner (usually within six weeks). A form for this purpose is also available for download.
- Applications for full-year projects must be submitted in writing by October 31 of the current calendar year for the following year. The application must be accompanied by a declaration that the measure has not yet been started.
- Applications that do not cover a full year can be submitted on an ongoing basis. However, they must generally be submitted no later than two months before the start of the measure.
