Have you changed your address and would now like to have the new address entered on your ID card/passport/electronic residence permit?

From 21.02.2024, you will not need an appointment for this at the BürgerServiceCenter Mitte and BürgerServiceCenter-Nord. You can do this without an appointment during the opening hours of the express counters (please note the different opening hours at BSC-Mitte and BSC-Nord).

If you move house, you must have the address on your ID card/electronic residence permit or the place of residence on your passport updated. In the case of an identity card or electronic residence permit, the change of address is indicated by means of a sticker and the address is also changed on the ID chip. In the case of a passport, the change is made by hand and confirmed with a seal.
