The correct position and height of the building project on the property is marked with the stakeout. This ensures that the property boundary is not built over and that the boundary distances and heights specified by the building permit authority are adhered to.
A distinction is made between rough and fine marking. The rough stakeout is used as a guide for earth movements on the property (sand slab, basement excavation). The fine stakeout marks the corner points of the construction project with centimeter precision on the property.
The surveying and land registry office receives an extract from the building application/building permit from the client, which shows the dimensions and the planned location of the building project. These are then transferred to the site.
