Anyone moving into an apartment must register with the registration office of their place of residence within two weeks of moving in.

The registration must be done within two weeks after moving into the (new) apartment at the citizens' offices. An adult family member can register the entire family.

If you are moving in from abroad, you must register in person.

Registration via the Internet is not possible.

As of 01.01.2017, a secondary residence tax must be paid for a secondary residence in Bremerhaven.

• From the age of 16, the signature of a parent or guardian is not required.
• Vehicle documents must also be changed
• Driving licenses are not changed.
