The aim of funding inter-company training courses is to ensure uniform, high-quality training. Eligible are inter-company training courses that have been decided by the vocational training committee and the general assembly of the Bremen Chamber of Crafts and approved by the supreme state authority.

The aim of promoting inter-company training courses is to ensure uniform, high-quality training. The prerequisites for funding are derived from the guideline for the funding of inter-company vocational training in the skilled crafts sector (apprenticeship training) of 15.11.1990.

Eligible for funding are inter-company training courses which have been decided by the vocational training committee and the general assembly of the Bremen Chamber of Crafts and approved by the supreme state authority. The inter-company courses in the 2nd to 4th year of training must also be recognized by the Federal Ministry of Economics in terms of content and duration. The trainees are to be taught knowledge and skills in line with the latest economic and technical developments.

The Senator for Children and Education is responsible for processing applications for funding for inter-company instruction. Applications for state funding for apprenticeship instruction can only be submitted by the Bremen Chamber of Skilled Crafts. The Bremen Chamber of Skilled Crafts may conduct the courses itself or commission other qualified institutions to do so.

The application processing is free of charge. The Chamber of Skilled Crafts submits an application for the following year to the Senator for Children and Education by December 01 of each year. It is obliged to submit proofs of use of the grants by 30.06. of the following financial year. The appropriate forms are to be used for the application and the proofs of use.
