The certification confirms that the content of the copy is identical to the original document. However, the certification does not certify the authenticity or validity of the original.

The certification of school certificates is for a specific purpose. In case of doubt, it will be checked whether certification may be carried out according to the relevant regulations.

The following documents may be certified for the purpose of applying for an apprenticeship or university place:

• Certificates from schools (also 2nd educational path)
• Certificates from state schools

• Presentation of the original document
• Copies brought in must reproduce the entire original document
• A multi-page document must not be copied double-sided

Important: This is a service under municipal jurisdiction. Therefore, you can only visit a service located in your place of residence.

• Copies of original documents may be brought.
• Schools are allowed to certify the certificates they issue themselves.
