The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (LfDI) assists people whose personal data are processed in all matters of data protection and supports them in exercising their rights.
It monitors compliance with data protection regulations by all non-public bodies (private sector) based in the State of Bremen and by the administrations of the State and the municipalities of Bremen and Bremerhaven.
For the data subject, the performance of the tasks of the supervisory authority shall be free of charge.
