Allgemeine Parkerleichterung für Menschen mit Behinderungen beantragen, Merkmale aG oder Bl

In order to make it easier for severely handicapped persons to park in specially marked areas, parking facilitation can be applied for.

Severely disabled persons with disabilities of the following characteristics

• aG (exceptionally disabled) or
• Bl (blind)

can apply for parking permits, which entitle them to park on separately marked parking spaces, provided that no other parking possibility exists within a reasonable distance.

The following parking spaces are included:

• Parking spaces with additional sign "Wheelchair symbol" (so-called disabled parking spaces),
• limited stopping restriction (up to three hours, the arrival time must result from the setting on a parking disc),
• No stopping in zones (beyond the permitted parking time),
• time-limited parking spaces (beyond the permitted time),
• Pedestrian areas where loading and unloading is permitted for certain times (during loading times),
• in parking spaces for residents (up to three hours),
• at places with parking meters and parking ticket machines without charge and time limit,
• in designated traffic-calmed areas outside the designated areas without obstructing through traffic

• Severely disabled pass with front and back
• Passport photo (except for children under 6 years)
• If necessary, proof of official guardianship from the local court

• Presence of a severe disability (exceptional walking disability (marker aG), bilateral amellia or phocomellia or with comparable functional restrictions as well as blind persons (marker Bl))

an application may

• can be downloaded from the ASV homepage,
• by e-mail,
• Fax,
• be sent by post or
• be presented personally at the ASV
• A new application must be submitted for an extension of the derogation.

For a child or a person to be legally cared for, the application must be submitted by the legal representative

The parking permit must be placed clearly visible behind the windscreen. The original copy of the special permit must always be carried.

The parking permit is valid throughout Europe.

For the aforementioned groups of persons who do not possess a driving licence, an exemption permit can also be issued, which is then displayed in the respective vehicle.

A personal disabled parking space (apartment, workplace) can be applied for separately. In contrast to the parking permit, there is no legal claim to the individual disabled parking space.

A parking space can be reserved individually for a specific person with a severe disability if

• Lack of parking space,
• a parking space is not available in reasonable proximity,
• there is no stopping ban and a temporary special parking right (e.g. for the workplace) is not sufficient.
