Anyone moving within Bremen must re-register with the registration office within two weeks of moving in.
The re-registration must take place within two weeks after moving into the (new) apartment at one of the BürgerService facilities of the Bürgeramt. An adult family member can re-register the entire family. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient if you make an appointment with us in good time, even if it can only take place later.

Antragsfrist: 2 Woche(n)
after moving into the new living space. The timely agreement of an appointment is sufficient to meet the deadline.
- From the age of 16, the signature of a parent or guardian is not required.
- Vehicle documents must also be changed
- Driving licenses are not changed.
