If the validity of your foreign youth falconry hunting license is expiring or has already expired, you can apply for an extension.
If the validity period of your foreign youth falconry hunting license, which was issued as an annual hunting license, has expired or is about to expire, you must apply for an extension if you wish to continue hunting in Germany.

- You must be at least 16 and no more than 18 years old at the time of issue.

- You already have a temporary falconry hunting license for young foreign persons (foreign youth falconry hunting license), the validity of which is about to expire or has already expired.
- Your legal guardian or guardians consent.
There is an administration fee. The amount of the fee depends on the type and scope of your application.
- You submit your application in writing or online and provide the necessary documents.
- If you submit the application in writing, submit it by post or in person to the responsible office.
- The responsible authority will check your application for completeness and correctness and, if necessary, request any missing documents or information from you.
- The responsible authority will inform you in writing about the decision on your application.
The annual hunting license for young people is valid for a maximum of two consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on April 1st and ends on March 31st of each calendar year.
