If you run a prostitution business and employ other people, you must register them.

If you, as the operator of a prostitution business, want to employ people in your prostitution business in the following areas of responsibility, you must inform the responsible authority:

• Management and supervision
• Compliance with house rules or house regulations,
• Admission control
• Guarding

All people you employ in the above areas of responsibility must undergo a reliability check. This also applies if the people in question are employed by you through external companies.

If facts justify the assumption that a person employed by you in these areas of responsibility does not have the reliability required for their work, the competent authority can issue an employment ban and prohibit you from employing the person or their work in the prostitution industry.

Attention: This only applies in the case of a corresponding ancillary condition (conditions) to a permit according to Section 12 ProstSchG or if the responsible authority requires this from you on the basis of another authorization basis.

• valid permit to operate a prostitution business
• the person to be reported must agree to a background check

Depends on the respective administrative fee regulations of the state or on the fee regulations of the bodies responsible under state law.

• They submit reports of other persons working in the prostitution industry to the responsible authority.
• The responsible authority carries out a reliability check.
• If the test is positive, you can employ the reported person in your prostitution business.

If the documents are complete, the application will be processed promptly.

• Register additional people who work in the prostitution business
• The operator of a prostitution business must report persons who are to be employed in the business (management, operations supervision, staff to comply with house rules, admission control or security) to the responsible authority
• This only applies in the case of a corresponding ancillary condition (conditions) to a permit to operate a prostitution business or if the competent authority can demand this from the citizen on the basis of another authorization basis.
• The authority then checks the person's reliability and can, if necessary, prohibit employment or refuse or revoke the permit.
