The commercial register provides information about facts and legal relationships that are relevant to legal transactions in connection with companies registered there. For example, the commercial register contains the names of the people who are authorized to represent a company in business transactions.

To view the commercial register, you can use the joint register portal of the states on the Internet. There you can search for registered companies by entering keywords. If you register, the contents of the register are also available online as a PDF document (subject to a fee).
In addition, you can still view the commercial register at the registry court during business hours (free of charge) and have a printout or copy made there (subject to a fee).
