A school certificate is issued by the responsible school. Certificates are issued automatically at the school attended. It is not necessary to apply for a certificate to be produced or issued.

Have you completed a school semester, school year or course of study? The certificate will be issued to you on the certificate issue day by the school you attended.

If it is a final or leaving certificate, you will also be given certified copies of the certificate.

A certificate is awarded to those who successfully complete an educational course
completed or passed a final examination and leaves school.

Leaving certificates may be considered under certain conditions if the course of study attended has not been successfully completed but the school is being left.

Certificates are issued automatically at the school attended without the need for an application, in good time before the certificates are issued, and are usually given to the students present on the certificate issue day at the end of the school semester or school year.

If a student is not present on the day the certificate is issued due to leave of absence, illness or other reasons beyond their control, the certificate must be sent to the parents or, if the student is of legal age, to the student in a sealed envelope.

The processing time for issuing the certificates varies, but the certificates are generally issued by the scheduled issue date. The certificate issue date is generally at the end of the school semester or school year.

Typically, the certificate is filled out, printed, signed and sealed. The process can take a few days to a few weeks.
