You can participate in the creation of an integrated urban development concept.

As citizens and companies, you have the right to participate in the creation of an integrated urban development concept for urban redevelopment. This allows you to help shape the goals and measures in the funding area.
If an impact is identified, public interest groups will be asked by the competent authority to submit a statement.
The results of the participation will be appropriately incorporated into the integrated urban development concept.

The start of the creation of an integrated urban development concept will be announced publicly.
The announcement will tell you which communication channels you can use to participate.
In principle, you can

• On-line,
• In written form,
• Orally or in writing on site at the competent authority or
• during a public participation event

participate in the creation of the development concept.

As an authority or public interest group, you will be asked to submit a statement online if you are found to be affected.

The statements received will be examined by the responsible authority after the deadline. The municipal council will then weigh up the statements and decide on them.
Other private and public interests will be taken into account. The result of the consideration will be communicated to you

: The duration of the procedure is variable and depends on the volume of comments received.

You can participate for at least 30 days after the public announcement.
As an authority or other body responsible for public interests, you must submit your opinion within 30 days of the request.

A decision on urban redevelopment generally consists of:

• Draft resolution specifying, for example, the objectives, measures and the proposed timetable, ...
• Minutes of resolutions documenting the decisions of the responsible bodies.
• Urban development concept describing the long-term development and restructuring of a city or district.
• Action planning with a detailed description of the planned projects
• o Financing plan with an overview of the available financial resources

• Participation in the preparation of integrated urban development concepts (ISEK)
  • for example: In the “Living Centres” and “Social Cohesion” programmes as well as in urban development measures
• Citizens, other actors, public authorities and public interest groups – and in the case of urban development measures, property owners – have the right to participate in the preparation of the integrated urban development concept
• Participation can take place in a variety of ways, for example in the form of a public event or digitally
