As a rule, children are only allowed to shoot at a shooting range from the age of 12. If your child wants to take part in shooting sports at an earlier age, an exception to this rule can be made under certain circumstances. You must apply for an exemption from the responsible authority.
- Certificate from the shooting club about your child’s shooting talent
- Medical certificate confirming your child’s mental and physical fitness
- Consent of legal guardians
- Your child is not yet 12 years old
- Shooting should be practiced as a competitive sport
- You submit your application in writing to the responsible authority and enclose the necessary documents.
- The responsible authority will examine your application and, if necessary, request any missing documents from you.
- The responsible authority will inform you of the decision in writing.
