If you want to take part in an explosives law specialist course, you need a clearance certificate.
If you want to take part in a specialist training course for handling explosive substances, then you need the clearance certificate in accordance with § 34 1st Explosives Ordinance (1.SprengV). The certificate is issued if the explosives legal reliability and personal suitability to participate in courses according to the SprengG are available. Please note the entry requirements for the courses.
- ID card or passport
- If applicable, a certificate from a doctor confirming your physical suitability for the intended job
- For applicants residing abroad: local certificate of good conduct
In order to receive a clearance certificate, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be personally suitable. You are personally suitable if you do not have any limitations, for example in your mental or physical health or are dependent on drugs or alcohol.
- You must have reached the age of 21.
- You fill out the relevant application form in full or submit the application online and send it to the Office for Occupational Safety and Health, including the documents listed in the application.
- If the documents or information required for processing are incomplete, you will be contacted by the administrative department
- The decision will be sent to you by e-mail or by post.
- The notice of fees will usually be sent to you later.
The application must be submitted in good time, no later than 3 months before the intended participation in a course. The clearance certificate is valid for one year.
