If you intend to work as a prostitute, you can seek health advice.

In order to work as a prostitute, you must register. If you want to register as a prostitute, you are required to seek advice beforehand.

If you already work as a prostitute, you must seek regular counseling.

Health advice mainly focuses on topics such as
  • Protection against diseases,
  • Pregnancy and contraception
  • Risks of alcohol and drug abuse.
The conversation is confidential. This means that no information will be passed on. If you do not speak German well, an interpreter or language mediator can be present or called to translate for you. Even then, the conversation remains confidential.

Verfahrensablauf

  • You make an appointment with the responsible authority.
  • You will receive advice at the agreed time.
  • After the consultation, the authority will issue you a certificate confirming that the health consultation was carried out.
    • If you register as a prostitute, you must present the certificate.
    • If you already work as a prostitute, you must have the certificate with you when you carry out your work.

Bearbeitungsdauer

The duration of the consultation depends on the individual case. The certificate will be issued to you immediately after the consultation.

Frist

If you work as a prostitute and
  • are not yet 21 years old, you must seek advice every 6 months.
  • If you are already 21 years old or older, you must seek advice once a year.
