Under certain conditions, a foundation will be dissolved ex officio.

If a foundation has to be dissolved but the responsible body does not decide on the dissolution in a timely manner, the foundation will be dissolved ex officio.

If the responsible body of the foundation does not decide on the dissolution of the foundation in a timely manner, the foundation will be dissolved ex officio.
If the foundation endangers the general welfare and this threat is not eliminated in another way, the foundation will be terminated ex officio.
If the administrative headquarters of the foundation was established abroad and the authority cannot achieve the transfer of the administrative headquarters domestically within a reasonable time, the foundation will be dissolved ex officio.

A foundation must be dissolved if:

• it can no longer fulfill its purpose permanently and sustainably and
• its statutes cannot be redesigned in such a way that it can again fulfill its purpose in a long-term and sustainable manner or
• the period of a consumption foundation set up for them has expired.

If the responsible body of the foundation does not decide on the dissolution in a timely manner, the foundation will be dissolved ex officio.
