Foreign certificates must be submitted with certified translations by state-sworn translators. For training courses completed outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, official documents must be confirmed by an apostille or legalization. The professional license is to be granted on application if you:

• have completed medical training in a third country,
• are physically and personally suitable
• have at least B2 level German language skills
• have a job offer from a Hamburg practice / a Hamburg hospital
• the complete application documents have been submitted
