If you would like to work as a child and adolescent psychotherapist, you need a license to practice medicine.

- Birth certificate and corresponding certificate in case of change of name
- proof of identity
- criminal record
- medical certificate
- You have completed your studies in Germany or have acquired an equivalent qualification abroad.
- You have successfully completed the examination to become a child and adolescent psychotherapist.
- You are physically and personally suitable.
- You have sufficient knowledge of the German language.
An objection to a negative decision can be raised within one month after notification to the office specified in the letterhead.
