If you want to plan or demonstrate a performance with pyrotechnic articles such as fireworks in film, musical and television venues as well as in theaters and at concerts, you must apply for a permit.

You need a permit for testing as well as demonstration in the presence of visitors and performers if you
- plan or plan a stage performance with pyrotechnic effects or fire-hazardous actions
- want to demonstrate explosive substances or flammable actions in film and television production facilities.

If applicable, proof of the certificate of competence or proof of permission

-You must be of legal age to obtain a permit.
-For effects of the category T1 you no longer have to fulfill any further requirements.
- Category T2 effects require a permit or a certificate of competence

EUR 53.00 per half hour of activity, including travel time, office work time and on-site inspection
Travel allowance: EUR 8.10

You can apply in writing and online for the approval of pyrotechnic objects for testing and demonstration in the presence of visitors and participants in television, musical and film venues as well as in theaters and at concerts. The application is received by the competent authority.
If you want to apply for permission in writing:
- After the application has been received, it will be formally checked and any missing documents will be requested.
- There will be an examination of the eligibility for approval (approval of pyrotechnicians, effect devices, distances, etc.).
- If the examination of the application and the submitted documents is unsuccessful, the necessary changes will be discussed with the pyrotechnician and the person submitting the application. If the test is passed, an appointment is made to test the pyrotechnic effects and/or flammable actions in the presence of the pyrotechnician.
- The conditional approval is granted.
- The effects are tested and an acceptance report is created on site. The approval is now fully granted.
