If you are unable to take a fishing license test due to a disability, you can apply for an exemption from the fishing license requirement.
You can apply to the responsible authority for an exemption from the fishing license requirement if you are unable to take the fishing license test due to a disability. The permit allows you to fish with a hand fishing rod accompanied by an adult holder of a valid fishing license.
The exemption itself is free of charge. The fishing tax of EUR 10.00 must also be paid before fishing begins.
You submit the application informally in writing to the fisheries authority. The responsible authority checks whether the factual and legal requirements are met and then sends you the exemption.
The exemption must be in place before fishing begins. The validity of the special permit depends on the deadline on the severely handicapped ID card.
