With two years of previous ownership of class A1, class A2 can only be acquired by passing the practical test (without the theoretical test).
With two years of previous possession of class A2, class A can only be acquired by passing the practical test (without the theoretical test). The ascent from A2 to A is possible at the age of 20.
Validity of driving licenses
The validity of the driver's license issued from January 19, 2013 is limited to 15 years, after which a new issue is required. The driving license remains valid - no new test is required. Driver's licenses issued before January 19, 2013 must be exchanged by January 19, 2033 at the latest.
