Reimbursement for trips with schools and day-care centers

Recipients of citizens' allowance and social allowance can receive these benefits as part of the education package. The actual costs for daycare and school trips lasting several days are covered. Pocket money for additional expenses will not be covered.

Approval notice for citizen's income or certificate (confirmation of performance) must be submitted to the respective facility (e.g. school, day-care center)
The certificate (confirmation of benefits) is a short notification that only contains the data required for applying for benefits (name, approval period, date of birth, address, legal basis for benefit receipt). Those entitled to benefits under SGB II must first apply for this at the job center team.arbeit.hamburg.

- Children under the age of 25 are entitled who or whose parents are recipients of citizen benefit and social security benefits and
- visit a day-care center or after-school care center or be cared for by childminders or
- attend a general or vocational school and
- received no training allowance

Multi-day school trips:
Are applied for directly in the day-care center, in the after-school care center, from the day care staff or in the school by presenting the notification of approval. The "Application for the assumption of costs for a trip lasting several days with the
School/day care facility" must be completed and submitted to the job center team.arbeit.hamburg.

Everything else is done by the accounting office or the job center with the school. The benefits granted are valid for the entire approval period
