If you receive housing benefit or child allowance according to the Federal Child Benefit Act, you can receive this benefit as part of the education package.
School children are paid a total of 174 euros per year for learning materials, 116 euros at the beginning of the school year (usually August 1st) and 58 euros at the beginning of the second half of the school year (usually February 1st).
In addition to school bags and sports equipment, personal school supplies also include writing, calculation and drawing materials, such as fountain pens, crayons, compasses, set squares and erasers.
Expenses for consumables that need to be purchased regularly, such as notebooks, pencils and ink, must be covered by the housing benefit/child allowance.
