If you intend to start operating an electricity supply network or gas supply network, you need a permit. You must have the approval before you start operating. You should submit the application for approval to the responsible authority at least 6 months before the planned commissioning of the energy supply network.

To obtain approval, you must submit an application to the relevant authority. The approval will be granted to you by the responsible authority after checking your suitability for operating an energy supply network.
The responsible body will decide on the application within six months of the complete application documents being available. Therefore, make sure you apply on time.
