The social psychiatric service offers advice and help with mental problems. The social psychiatric service is both a crisis service and a counseling center for people aged 18 and over in acute crisis situations,
- with suicidal thoughts
- with mental problems,
- with mental illnesses or disabilities,
- with addiction problems,
- as well as with intellectual disabilities.
Affected persons as well as their relatives, friends, colleagues or neighbors can turn to the social psychiatric service.
In detail, the Social Psychiatric Service offers:
- Help in crisis situations (also on site),
- Home visits if necessary,
- telephone information and advice,
- Information and mediation of individual help,
- Information and communication of treatment and therapy options,
- Assessments on behalf of other offices and authorities,
- Advice and assistance with questions about care and accommodation law.
It is also possible to visit the two patient clubs or the group of members of the social psychiatric service.
Medical treatment is not carried out.
In emergencies, the responsibility of the social psychiatric service depends on the current location of the incident / whereabouts of the person concerned.
