Primary and secondary schools, special schools and vocational schools can apply for funding from the governments or MB departments to carry out internal teacher training.

The governments support primary and secondary schools, special schools and vocational schools within the framework of the available budget funds for the implementation of school-internal further training measures by providing grants for speakers' fees and travel expenses. The MB departments are responsible for vocational secondary schools (FOS and BOS).

Priority is given to measures that are suitable for supporting the process of internal school development on site. These include, in particular, the support and supervision of schools in target-setting and target implementation processes, e.g. following external or internal evaluation or as part of the implementation of the school's own media concept.

An application for funding for internal teacher training must be submitted to the government (in the case of primary and secondary schools: via the state education authority) or the responsible MB office in good time before the measure is carried out.
