Purpose

With community development, the Rural Development Administration supports the improvement of the quality of location and living conditions in the communities and thus strengthens rural areas as a whole. Successful and sustainable community development activates the community's own strengths, strengthens existing potential and involves citizens in participation processes. On the basis of an identified need for action in all villages of the municipality, the measures are determined according to urgency as well as the time and financial possibilities of the municipality and the Office for Rural Development.

Object

Funding is provided for the development of a holistic concept for the future development of a municipality.

Recipients of funding

Municipalities and towns are eligible to apply.

Eligible costs

Funding is available for the costs of developing the concept.

Type and amount

Funding is provided as a grant (project funding).

Depending on the project and the financial strength of the municipality, the funding rate is up to 75%, up to a maximum of EUR 50,000.00 of the eligible costs.

Application

The funding application must be submitted to the locally responsible Office for Rural Development.

Approval

Grants can only be approved if the project in question has not yet begun.
