Purpose
In the interest of plurality and proximity to the place of residence, an extended range of general pregnancy counseling services is to be provided in addition to the counseling services offered by the state-recognized pregnancy counseling centers.
Object
Eligible for funding are pregnancy counseling centers in the Free State of Bavaria that primarily perform pregnancy counseling tasks in accordance with Section I and Section II of Part Two of the Bavarian Pregnancy Counseling Act (BaySchwBerG) with the exception of pregnancy conflict counseling in the state system.
Recipients of funding
The providers of pregnancy counseling centers are eligible to apply if they meet the requirements of Art. 17 Nos. 1 to 3, 5 BaySchwBerG. In particular, they must
- belong to the public or independent welfare sector,
- have the necessary experience,
- offer a guarantee of proper advice and fulfillment of the obligations under Art. 16 BaySchwBerG,
- ensure that employees receive supervision and professional training.
Art. 16 No. 1 BaySchwBerG does not apply.
Type and amount
Funding is provided as fixed-amount funding within the framework of project funding. A lump sum of EUR 27,000 is granted per counseling center.

The pregnancy advice centers must meet the requirements of Art. 16 Nos. 2 to 11 BaySchwBerG. This includes, for example
- Minimum staffing,
- Involvement of psychologists, doctors, lawyers,
- opening hours,
- annual activity report,
- no cooperation with abortion facilities.
The application should be submitted by October 1 of the previous year at the latest.
Proof of use must be submitted by March 31 of the following year at the latest.
