Hochschule; Beantragung einer Beschäftigungsgenehmigung für hauptberufliche Lehrkräfte an nichtstaatlichen Hochschulen

The employment of full-time teaching staff at non-state universities requires the approval of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts.

Full-time teaching staff may only work at a non-state higher education institution if they have been granted an employment permit before commencing their teaching activities. The approval can be applied for by the institution or the head of the higher education institution.

Approval is granted if the applicant fulfills the requirements for a corresponding activity at state universities.

A fee is charged. The amount depends on the administrative costs associated with issuing the work permit.
