Companies may only use the professional title "Consulting Engineer" in their name if they are entered in the company register at the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers.

The registration committee at the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers examines and decides on the entry in the lists and directories.

• Proof of sufficient professional liability insurance
• Memorandum or Articles of Association
• Proof of entry/registration in the Commercial Register or Partnership Register

• registered office or branch in Bavaria
• Sufficient professional liability insurance
• Regulations in the articles of association or statutes, etc.
  • The object of the company is to perform the professional tasks of consulting engineers,
  • at least half of the capital and voting shares held by consulting engineers,
  • Management of the company by consulting engineers

• Registration of a corporation: EUR 795.00
• Registration of a company pursuant to § 107 para. 2 HGB: EUR 795.00
• Registration of a partnership or partnership company, insofar as not covered by No. 2: EUR 465.00
