You must notify the competent Chamber of Skilled Crafts of the appointment of the management of your craft business subject to licensing.

If you wish to practice a craft requiring a license as the owner of a business without fulfilling the requirements for registration on the craft roll yourself, you must appoint a business manager who meets these requirements.

The appointment of a manager must be registered with the Chamber of Skilled Crafts so that it can check that the requirements for registration are actually met. If a manager leaves the company or the scope of their activities changes, this must be reported to the relevant Chamber of Skilled Crafts.

  e.g. declaration of operations manager

Appropriate proof of qualification must be available.

At the time of entry in the Register of Craftsmen, the manager's appointment must be in place. If the manager leaves, the Chamber of Skilled Crafts may set a reasonable deadline for the appointment of a new manager.
