The aim of Bavarian media funding is to support and expand the diversity and performance of Bavaria as a media location.

Funding is available to institutions and companies whose activities make a special contribution to the development of Bavaria as a media location.

In principle, all companies and institutions (associations) under private law that are active in the media sector are eligible for funding.

• Statement of facts relevant to the subsidy
• Financing plan
• If applicable, de minimis declaration, detailed project description, etc.

The proposed project must offer significant added value for Bavaria as a media location. This must be explicitly stated in the application.

The application must be submitted to the Bavarian State Chancellery in writing, electronically or via the online procedure provided.

It is advisable to contact the Bavarian State Chancellery before submitting the application.

In addition to the grant application, a detailed description of the project and a financing plan must be submitted.
