If you would like to have access to the monument file, you can apply to the competent authority.
The monuments protected under the Monument Protection Act are recorded in a register of cultural monuments.
If you would like to receive information on monuments or access to files, you can apply for this at the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments and the State Archaeological Museum.
Owners are given unrestricted access to the files. Other persons are only granted access to the extent that data protection regulations and the protection of business data do not conflict with this.
In the case of ground monuments and movable monuments, proof of a legitimate interest may be required.
After reviewing the application and any necessary documents and proofs, you will receive the desired information from the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments and the State Archaeological Museum, if there are no data protection or other interests worthy of protection of the monument owner. In certain cases, the information may be refused.
